I'm making this post that I intend to update to keep track of the proposed groups, count and list those who have mentioned an interest in playing members:
5 - Aparigrahah dholes - Pallu, Chibiabos*, Tsuun*, Satya 5 - Ran Garjana tigers - Rakta, Tsuun, Satya 5 - Anekanta cloven hoofers - Satya, Chibiabos, Sudhir, Mitra, Avalikia 3 - Saahasi wolves - Chibiabos, Deo 3 - Janmaraashi flying foxes - Sudhir, 3 - Lon gi clouded leopards - mitra, Uncia? 3 - Jwaar Santaan crocodiles - saadarshan + - Do-Rakhanaa tigers - Bhaskar + - Sakht Nakh - Chibiabos, Sudhir
* marks "cub" characters. Even if all those I listed who mentioned an interest in making characters for these groups fully committed to it, the MUCK rules for groups only counts adult members to make the minimum 5 adult members to constitute a formal group.
This is purely from posts and replies on the forum. I'm pretty sure many have talked about an interest in making something for group X off the forums, but even for stuff that I caught wind of, I have a terrible memory, so I'm just counting what I've researched on forum threads and replies thus far. Feel free to reply if you have a real interest in joining one of the groups and I'll add your name and tally for that group. I will keep this OP updated until the MUCK opens.
Avalikia's Notes: + - These groups aren't necessarily meant to become full groups in the muck, and are instead groups that are available to be a part of backstories and such. Let me know if this ever changes.

Just to clear it up, Sudhir is kind of strictly my wiz alt. Rakesh is the alt in charge of the bats. :]

I'm just listing by board account names. None of my characters will be named Chibiabos, heh -- that's my OOC account stolen from Algonquin (Native American) lore/culture. Not everyone has come up with names for the characters they dibbed ... I suppose I could put the ones that have in, with their board account names in parenthesis, or just the board names in parenthesis when they haven't given a character name yet.

Yep! I know, I just figured I'd give you the bat leader's name anyway.

I'm not really sure Agni could be counted as part of a group being as he's a rogue.

I decided to take full advantage of this thread by marking all of the groups with which step I consider them to be on, since there's so many and I'm having a hard time keeping track of who I told how approved they are. The numbers correspond to the steps listed in the groups section of the rules.

Sakht Nakh should definitely not be an active group. Evil tiger clans seem redundant after the first one. XD

Well, and it probably wouldn't get approved anyways. It wouldn't be a good idea for me to approve more than one tiger group before the muck opens regardless of anything else, and afterwards it would depend on just how many tigers we end up with. And even then I'd want it to be significantly different than what we already have - the Do-Rakhanaa turning into a full-on group would be much better.

That I agree with. Would be good to have the Do-Rakhanna balance out the Ran Garjana.
