I thought I posted something about this character up here, but I guess I didn't. So, here I am, remedying that.

Dalaja is the now adult daughter of Badajiva and the dead Raja of the Sakt Nakh Tiger Clan, Vijayi. She is the sister of Bhata. Throughout her cubhood she looked up to both her mother and father for guidance and strength, but especially her father. Of course, Bhata was the one to receive the Raja's attention and care, into grooming him for the position of Raja when he was full grown. At an early age, this already begun to create bitter tension between the siblings, and Dalaja slowly began to experience critical moodswings whenever he brother was mentioned.
During the actual reign of the clan, when they were busy slaughtering other predator groups and all that good stuff, Dalaja would wander off by herself into the depths of the jungle and would keep herself hidden. Not because she was scared, but because she was jealous that she couldn't go along too. At this age, she wasn't aware that they were purposefully killing other predators for their own supremacy, but she figured they were on hunts. Once she learned that tigers hunt alone, she was curious of the clan's behavior, but ignored it and began to hone her own hunting skills, alone.
She was still very young when the clan was brought down by the bunch of other predators that killed numerous adult tigresses, and her father. Luckily for her though, she was safe in her hiding place in the jungle when it all started. By the time she'd heard the war cries of everyone, she ran back to find her father and the majority of her clan dead, and Bhata at the helm of the attack. Not yet old enough to even consider attacking him, she more or less just glared silently at him, and had made a promise to herself that she'd rip him apart one day, for what he'd done not only to the clan, but to their family. She never did care for her brother, which she was certain would make killing him all the more easier.
Though her mother still lived, she had little to do with her after the defeat of their clan. In a sense she withdrew into herself, her own thoughts literally driving her quite insane. Keeping to herself in the deeper parts of the jungle, occasionally she can be heard chuckling before she swipes something down, practicing for when she finally kills Bhata. But being alone and maddened hasn't done much for her health. Though she is determined, she is skinny. Taking down a full grown male tiger in her state would be impossible.
In her spare time, Dalaja will take out her frustrations on the animals that dare cross her path. Most of the time, she won't eat them afterward. Bats are caught, pinned down, and their wings torn to shreds, but they aren't killed. Just left defenseless for her to antagonize. Mice and rats are caught and dissected slowly with her claws. Larger animals, including other predators when she is able to catch them, are mostly decapitated and left to rot. Only occasionally will she allow herself a meal, constantly reminding herself that she's not allowed one until she can commit one more self-assigned atrocity to a specific animal.
There is no stone left unturned as far as cruelty and madness with Dalaja. No horrible thing that she wouldn't consider doing in order to bring her closer to her brother or the other tigers that betrayed her beloved father. If she must wait until he is old and frail, then she will. Though she is skinny and doesn't look like much of a threat, the crazed tigress is most certainly a more than capable killer.
