Technically, I will have 'net access, but I'll be volunteering at a commune that's needing a lot of butt-busting work to get going, so I won't have time to play computer games which includes, unfortunately, MUCKing. I do not know how long I will be off the MUCKs, but I should be reachable via e-mail at Chibiabos (at) gmail (dot) com.
I am going for an on-site visit for at least a month (hopefully much longer) to Open Source Ecology. They've got a great mission to create open-source hardware blueprints for working machines that a community can build and be entirely self-sufficient ... if that sounds at all interesting, please check them out at www.opensourceecology.org ... they can certainly use a lot of skilled folk who can help out just doing stuff over the Internet. I.T. guys, CAD experts, machinists ... heck I think animators and artists could have a great role.
