Okay, here's some NPCs for you guys! One I've left off because she might have a player, but the rest are fair game for development and claiming. Please let me know, though, and if anyone approaches you about family possibilities, cos I'm trying to keep track of everybody
NRIDEV
Male, Adult
Mate: Vedha
Cubs: Kavin
Rough personality sketch: Doting father, very stubborn and always tend to think he knows best. For everybody and about everything (even though he's often wrong!). Can be stern and is not afraid to give an impish cub a good cuff with a paw. Is very dedicated to the Lon Gi tribe and a stickler for tradition and ceremony.
History: Was born in the Lon Gi, and his mating was arranged with Vedha. Hasn't been specified whether Kavin is their first cub or if they have had prior litters, so age on the adult spectrum is flexible. It's always possible that they have had prior litters, in case anyone's interested in having parents for their background, although if you decide to be a grown cub of these guys, please let me know (so I can keep track of the family tree)! Are indebted to Uncia for saving the life of their young cub, Kavin.
VEDHA
Female, Adult
Mate: Nridev
Cubs: Kavin
Rough personality sketch: Wilma Flintstone to Nridev's Fred. The all-knowing wife who cares deeply for her 'husband' and would follow him to the ends of the earth, if only to give him a well-deserved I TOLD YOU SO and help him back to his feet. Will often fall apart when put under pressure, would rather flee than fight in most cases. While the Lon Gi don't have a specific 'religion', some can be very superstitious, and Vedha is one such cat. Anything beyond her control or that is highly unusual is typically credited to one non-specific deity or another. A bit of a gossip, and loves a good story to tell. Cannot keep secrets, except for the Lon Gi society (barely).

KAVIN
Male, Juvenile
Mate: Unchosen
Cubs: None
Rough personality sketch: Impulsive and already old enough to speak well (think Simba during Can't Wait To Be King) and get around. Loves to play and get into EVerything, has a strong desire to explore and to play. He is very close to the age where a future mate is to be chosen for him, which might encourage resentment (ew, girls??) or eagerness (ALRIGHT, she has to wait on me!). A jokester, not much affects him.
History: Has led a fairly sheltered life, hence his reckless nature. When his family took a brief journey north, he fell into a river and would have drowned if it had not been for the quick actions of Uncia the snow leopard. He was badly shaken and has a fearful sort of awe for the larger cats as a result.
TURAG
Male, Adult
Has alias, known among Lon Gi: One of the Elders (of which there are five total)
Mate: Chunni
Cubs: Many
Rough personality sketch: A leader, a warrior, and the Elder with the greatest amount of territory. Deeply respected. Has many years' experience under his 'belt', older than Mitra and Anvi but younger than the Widow, who is the oldest living Lon Gi at this time. I haven't developed him beyond 'stern' and 'strong, silent type', so you're welcome to work on him and flesh him out.
History: This guy has a very large territory, and his family name carries a lot of weight. Among the Lon Gi, he is the least known of the Elders, keeps to himself and usually only becomes involved when he has to, prefering to let the other Elder couple handle things when a tie-breaker or witnesses are required. (I haven't created NPCs for them yet, but they would be around the same age as he and his mate). Has been with his mate since his youth. Other than that I haven't really worked on him, so whether he's something of a tyrant or someone regal and loved shall be up to the player!
CHUNNI
Female, Adult
Has alias, known among Lon Gi: One of the Elders (of which there are five total)
Mate: Turag
Cubs: Many
Rough personality sketch: Quiet, cold, impatient. Probably puts on airs because of her mate's success and considers herself better than others. Not typical Lon Gi behavior, and she is the least liked of the Elders. It may be because of her that Turag is not usually involved in things these days. She is prideful and holds a grudge for a long time.
History: Has been with Turag nearly her entire life. Beyond that, I haven't elaborated much, so she should be pretty flexible.
I have had a couple people come to me with interest in NPCs, so if you're thinking of one, let me know, so I can inform the other interested party. That way two people aren't trying to make the same character or work on them at once! I will gladly NPC any of the above if you're looking for a little scene, although as far as I know, clouded leopards do spend time away from their mates when it's not breeding season, so you don't HAVE to find a player for your mate, if you have one. Though I know it can be fun.
